I just wanted to put in writting my appreciation for everything your company has done for me recently. The replacement for my 664 mixer arrived today and is working perfectly. Please pass on my thanks to Matt for his patience, expert help and the guidance he has provided despite me phoning, in a panic, from various locations around the world. Thanks to you all for going beyond the call of duty, the level of service has been absolutely fantastic!
Dual-Band filtering is an advanced unique design only passing wanted signals within the selected filter. This provides a greater operating frequency range and protects the receivers against interfering signals and unwanted dirty RF, maintains robust RF reception.
This LPDA Active antenna is custom designed for UK Market to cover lower UHF Band and UK DME Band.
KEY FEATURES:
Dual-Band Active Log Periodic Dipole Array antenna LPDA-A-DB is designed to operate over the 470-1164MHz range, the LPDA-A-DB consisting of two sections: LPDA-P passive antenna and an Active Dual-Band, Band-Pass Filter Antenna Booster sections, the user selectable front-end filtering determines the operating frequency range of the LPDA-A-DB.
The Dual-Band - LPDA-A-DB may be used in Active or Passive Mode to suit individual applications:
Active Mode (when powered through the coax-cable)
MODE 1: User selectable 470-700MHz ONLY (lower end can be custom tuned between 470/510/520MHz-to order)
MODE 2: User selectable 960-1164MHz ONLY
MODE 3: Both “Band-Pass Filters” ON at the same time (excellent “Band Rejection” between 700MHz and 960MHz)
Passive Mode (when there is no dc present) can be used as a High Gain Passive
antenna to receive or to transmit with passive 5dB Gain
This unique design has an exceptionally low loss and a very selective front-end Band-pass filters with fixed bandwidth between 470-700MHz and 960-1164MHz. The RF Amplifiers offers a high dynamic range, very low noise, and linear gain within the tuning range.
The LPDA-A-DB offers flexibility as well as additional front-end protection against interfering dirty RF, the booster offers 20dB user adjustable gain to compensate long antenna extension cable losses hence increased distance between the transmitter and the receiver, LPDA-A-DB finds its application in film making, documentaries, fixed installations as in studios, and theatres. Compatible with any UHF wireless receiving systems (Digital, Digital hybrid or Analogue) providing a directional coverage pattern.
The antennae constructed using advanced multi-layer PCB design technique with copper-clad epoxy fiberglass to withstand heavy duty use in harsh environments, providing long life and consistent performance under difficult operating conditions. The booster box is a custom-design machined aluminum, black anodized with water resistant O-ring mounting. Mounting is made easy with integrated thread that directly mounts on to a tripod or with the supplied adaptor can be mounted directly on to a microphone stand. Powering is through coaxial cable, power source of 10-18Vdc.
