In a choice of 4,6 and 8 way configurations Solid Com is pre-programmed for instant out of the box operation, simply switch on and start talking. Audio quality is hugely improved over traditional walkie talkies, users are easily recognisable with loud clear transmissions. A built in mute function allows headsets to leave and join the conversation simply by lowering and raising of the microphone boom.
Solidcom C1 is powered with small light lithium batteries, helping to keep the total weight of the headset to under 170g, yet providing over 5 hours working time for the master headset and over 10 hours for remote headsets. Low battery indication is clearly displayed via the boom mounted LED.
The kits are supplied in a tough carry case complete with 2 batteries for each headset and a quality charger. Despite it’s competitive pricing the whole system feels very well made and is an ideal solution for small studios.
