Sound Devices have engineered a replacement backdoor to effectively double battery life.

If you already own an A20-Mini and want this product, you will need to have your unit modified. Details of this can be found in the upgrade section below.

Upgrade details

In order to use the A20-BatteryDoubler on existing sold A20-Mini's the A20-Mini's door hinge needs to be upgraded to allow you to easily swap back and forth between the A20-BatteryDoubler and the standard battery door. The upgrade includes door hinge replacement and a new A20-BatteryDoubler for a total price of £185.

Start the upgrade via Sound Devices/Audio Ltd webpage by completing the A20-BatteryDoubler Upgrade Request form. This will be completed at Audio Ltd HQ using a special tool and it is not advised that the customer tries this upgrade manually.

The upgrade request should be done by the customer directly at Audio Ltd.
