The CORE 4099 contains a highly directional capsule designed for use in ensembles, pit, stage and orchestral settings where other instruments and monitoring may be in close proximity. The pick up pattern of the capsule ensures maximum isolation of the musician’s Violin, with incredibly low self-noise and high gain before feedback.

The d:vote CORE 4099 Violin Microphone kit includes the Loud SPL 4099 variation, which has a dynamic range of 108dB and can withstand up to 142dB before clipping. The CORE by DPA amplifier technology assists in the production of a very transparent sound so that even in the unlikely event of spill, there are no unnatural harsh frequencies to deal with. The CORE 4099 mic capsule produces a very natural sound, both on and off axis, so that even in the unlikely event of spill, there are no unnatural harsh frequencies to deal with. Its mounting system is designed to securely attach the gooseneck microphone to the double bass by way of a rubber coated clamp which is very simple to fit and re-attach when required.
