Ambient VSLOT
Many professional video cameras are equipped with a V-Mount battery terminal. But only few also offer a possibility for slide-in radio receiver. The Ambient V-SLOT chassis provides the solution: it is mounted between the camera and battery supply, the power is looped through to the camera, powering the receiver. Here the common V-Mount system is being used, adaptation to other systems like e.g. Anton Bauer are possible with standard adaptor panels.
The V-SLOT can be used with all receivers equipped with a Unislot connector (25-pin sub-D).
To offer highest flexibility, a TA5M and a Hirose jack are attached on a movable plate, offering two balanced outputs for dual receivers and an additional power outlet for external equipment. The connector plate can be mounted right and on the bottom of the chassis to adjust to different camera types.
This way dangling cables become a relic of the past .
Thanks to the Ambient V-SLOT every V-Mount equipped camera can be transformed into a compact ENG camera system.
The Slot will be delivered with standard adaptor cable VSL-2X3.
